Individual support has played an integral part in the renewal of this theater. Friends of the Union County Arts Center was created for the continued restoration and growth of this historic and artistic home.
Friends of the Union County Arts Center is not just a fundraising arm, but an independent organization that supports its own season of social and educational events.
Mission Statement
The Friends of the Union County Arts Center is a membership driven organization that advances the mission of the Union County Arts Center, Inc. by:
- Serving as goodwill ambassadors for the Union County Arts Center, Inc. and building awareness of the Arts Center's programs, as well as the historic Rahway Theatre's restoration and history.
- Perpetuating the arts in Union County and the region through creative educational and social events.
- Supporting the programs of the Union County Arts Center, Inc. through a variety of fund raising efforts.

On behalf of all our members and the officers of the Friends of the Union County Arts Center, I would like to invite you to become a part of this active group.
In Union County, and the surrounding area, we are fortunate enough to have a growing organization like the Union County Performing Arts Center in such an impressive theatre. A joy to behold, but not to be taken for granted.
The "Friends Of" realizes what the Union County Performing Arts Center means to the community. It seeks to support the Arts Center through creative fundraisers and special events to help ensure that this great showplace will continue to provide an artistic home for the performing arts well into the future. Our members drive our organization; serve as goodwill ambassadors of the Arts Center and aid in the enhancement and maintenance of this historic Rahway Theatre. This is a great opportunity for you to contribute your time and talents to ensure that this Arts Center will continue to enrich, enlighten, educate and entertain all who come here.
